Come join MedWish Medworks as we support the BVU Homeless Stand Down. Homeless Stand Down provides people experiencing homelessness, many of whom are veterans, with resources, respite from the elements, and reconnection to the community. A community resource fair, opportunity to shop for clothing and boots and medical services are all provided to guests, free of charge.
Homeless Stand Down Hosted at the Cleveland Public Auditorium, volunteers will assist as guest guides, line management, registration, navigation and more.
Things to remember:
- You will be given a Volunteer MedWish Medworks T-Shirt
- Please wear comfortable shoes
- Volunteers must wear closed toe/closed heel shoes. NO crocs, slides, openings in footwear, etc. will be permitted. We also recommend comfortable clothes.
- For this clinic, you must be at least 18 years old to volunteer. **If you are under 18 and would like to volunteer with a parent, please contact Colleen Horan at choran@medwish.org**
- Lunch will be provided.
