BVU’S HOMELESS STAND DOWN Cleveland Public Auditorium 500 Lakeside Ave., E Join MedWish Medworks in support of BVU’s Homeless Stand Down. Homeless Stand Down provides neighbors in need with essential resources, respite from the elements, and reconnection to the community. A community resource fair, opportunity to shop for clothing and boots, hot meals and medical services are all provided to guests, free of charge. Community Volunteers are needed for Guest Guides, Registration and more! All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lunch will be provided. Closed toed shoes required. All volunteers must be 18 years old to volunteer at this event. Additional information will be provided closer to the event. DENTAL CLINIC Lakeland Community College 7700 Clocktower Drive Help provide FREE dental care to our community! Dental and community volunteers are needed to help provide FREE dental care to patients. Services will include: dental screenings, extractions and cleanings. Dental professionals including dentists, hygienists and dental assistants are needed. Community Volunteers are needed for Greeters, Patient Guides, Translators, Patient Registration, Patient Check out and more! All volunteers will receive a t-shirt and lunch will be provided. MEDICAL, WOMEN’S HEALTH + DENTAL CLINIC Care Alliance Health Center 2916 Central Avenue Cleveland, Ohio 44115 Help provide FREE medical and dental care to our community! Dental, medical and community volunteers are needed to help provide FREE medical and dental care to patients. Services will include: medical and women's health exams, dental screenings, extractions and more! Medical, Women’s Health and Dental professionals including family medicine providers, women’s health providers, women’s health nurses, medical triage nurses, phlebotomists, medical assistants, lab technicians, dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, licensed radiographers and EFDAs, are needed. Community Volunteers are needed for Greeters, Patient Guides, Translators, Produce Distribution, Patient Registration, Patient Check out and more! What We Do
We play an integral role in linking people who are uninsured and underinsured with healthcare. Since 2009, we have held more than 60 clinics in Northeast Ohio and provided more than 24,000 individuals with 40,000 appointments and services. These large-scale medical, dental and vision clinics serve those who otherwise would not have access to this essential care.
Our Care + Connect approach and strong relationships with existing safety net providers mean that patients not only receive immediate services but are also linked with follow up care and a medical home.
