Before your visit to MedWish Medworks, please note the following:

General Warehouse Sorting Volunteer Policies:

*To volunteer at our warehouse, you must be at least 13 years old.

*Volunteers must wear closed toe/close heel shoes. No slides, Crocs, etc. will be permitted. We also recommend comfortable clothes. 

*Volunteers must register in advance for all volunteer opportunities.

*Volunteers aged 13-15 must be accompanied by an adult.

General Clinic Volunteer Policies:

*To volunteer at our local health clinics, you must be at least 16 years old.

*Volunteers must wear closed toe/close heel shoes. No slides, Crocs, etc. will be permitted. We also recommend comfortable clothes. 

*Volunteers must register in advance for all volunteer opportunities.

*Volunteers aged 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Friendly Reminders for our Warehouse location: 

* Our address is: 1625 East 31st Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114

* We have a large MedWish Medworks parking lot directly next to our warehouse. Street parking is also available. 

* We have a virtual doorbell. Please ring the bell and you will be buzzed in. When the door makes a buzzing sound, pull the door open. 

* Enter the Volunteer Orientation room on the left-hand side. All volunteers will check-in before they get started. 

CANCELATION POLICY!!

We understand that things change. Please cancel 48-hours or sooner so that we can plan accordingly and move volunteers from the waiting list. You can contact Elisabeth Woolley to cancel at ewoolley@medwish.org

 

ORIENTATION

During your first volunteer shift, our Volunteer Team will provide you with a brief MedWish Medworks orientation and training. If you would like to learn more about MedWish Medworks before your shift though, please feel free to visit: https://medwish.org/

*If you are feeling ill, particularly with symptoms related to COVID-19, please contact MedWish Medworks to cancel or reschedule your volunteer shift.
